Another  day in Nashville. I spent some time looking around the conference which was fun..

Afterwards we all headed back tot he same great brew pub Monday Night to look for Allies glasses.. and they had them !!!   We had a couple of beers and played some more corn hole.. I even kind of liked it !  I loved the building though !

Afterwards, we went to another wonderful restruenat that my friend Allie had found from a local friend. I think it was called the optimist.. A few minutes after gettign there one of the waitstaff came over and said.. are you John Cohn ?”.. it was Gabes old housemate Ula K !. She’s moved to Nashville to do the whole singer songwriter thing !.. It was so great to see her !

Wwe were looking for music next.. Ula suggested Dees Loungs a great country bar where she sometimes plays 

It was a great place.. really good country/Americana  band… with a great juke box and a pool table. Turns out that several in our group.. poster, vinvcent and lexi were really good at pool !

We headed down to broadway after that.. but it was about 2 AM and we were pretty beat.. so we continued on to  the hotel for sleep.

I was grateful for that 🙂

Today was the first full day of our conference.. I got up early and took a. Run.. its pretty urban here.. but I found a railway track to follow.

I finished listening to “bomber mafia ” by malcom gladwell.. a good listen

The day at the conference was fun and interesting.. nothing I can share here though for business reasons.  🙂 …

Afterwards we headed to an amazing brewpub (again) called Monday night. it was in a beautiful wreck of a building.. .. got to practice my nascent corn hole skills !

Diane and I woke up early for me to airport for my flight down to Nashville this is the first business trip iPad for my gig at Beta

Pretty uneventful trip. I went straight to the conference venue when I got there to set up our demos. Everything got here more or less OK… One small repair. i  was happy to see everything working !

Once we were set up, we did a little exploring around town.. that night we went to an amazing restaurant called the bee and the butcher.

I was worried it was going to be just meat..  Put amazingly it was a Put amazingly it was a pop-up one night special from  an israeli  restaurant in Boston. It was a single orice and they kept brining us awesome middle eastern food. So great !

from there we went to a very cool outdoors  night market.. great art and a bar with rope  swings

it was very fun getting to know some of the folks from our communications team better. Such gret folks.

It was a rainy day today which  braught some  from the early heat. It was a good day to lay low. .. my main venture out was to go over to chris and kims to work on the design for the fire effects for the burning man art car

it was great catching up with Chris. He showed me the pair of mourning doves and their baby.

. They’ve already had crows poach a few of the young so every morning at 5:30  to scare away crows. They use a manikan that they deress up and move around the yard as a scare crow..
