It’s been raining for two days… Almost all the snow is gone. Our friends Rachel and tasha are still here .. So I wanted to at least get Raechel outside. We took a short hike around the gorge… Even with the snow gone it was beautiful. Huntington was way up so seeing the water coming over the falls was a fun adventure

Today was a bit of work day… Our friends Rachael and tasha are here looking at schools. It’s been nice hanging out with them.
I started out the day by taking pictures of all of the alien faces on our bedroom ceiling. I did it for my nephew berticcis who told me about the word “peredolia” Which is the human tendency to see faces and things… So this is for you Berto
Also important to point out that today was “twosday”. that is tuesday the 22nd of deb.. the second. month 2022. at 22 seconds after 10:22 pm
it was. 22:22:22 on 02/22/2022. at that moment . I did the most important thing I could think of… I took a picture of a picture of our kids

‘Linda and David and Willow took off around 10 o’clock this morning… After they left I got out for a run and admired the river ice that had broken up. Some of it is a good foot thick
Then around 2 o’clock our old friend Beckett showed up for a short visit on her way down to Boston. Just as she came my friend Rachel from California showed up. She’s in town with her daughter Natasha looking at schools. So we had a really nice lunch together.
Later in the day ‘Diane and I had a great meeting with police chief Kapitanski about the Richmond parking advisory committee… He’s such a fantastic guy.… Shortly after we got home I got on a call where our good friend Larry was getting and endowed Department head chair at Carnegie Mellon. It was a great ceremony with lots of our friends online.
By the time that was over rachel and Natasha we’re back… They’re going to be staying with us for a few days. It was really fun hanging out with them.

Another gentle start to the day… And we all had it in the car to Stowell. We stopped at the Cabot Cheese Pl., Smugglers Notch spirits, the chocolate store, the pewter store, the Patagonia store… All the kinds of places we never go unless there’s someone in town. It was fun. We then headed up to Stowell and took a great walk On the quiet part of the stove bike path. It was blustery but really beautiful to be outside
Yeah what he marries in the afternoon which is guaranteed nap for me… And also for Willow the dog
We woke up in time to make yet another feast… This time bowtie pasta with mascarpone dressing. We always eat so well when linda and david are with us
