Tuesday night – old friends and new friends

Insanely busy day… We have a board meeting at beta This week and I am scurrying with our team to get it done. It’s looking great… But making for some long days.

Did they started in a very nice way. My friend Aaron (a.k.a. rebar) pick me up around 830 and we drove out to Waitsfield to see my old friends Bill and Julie.… We were talking to them about the intersection of art and technology and looking at some of both of their amazing art.…

Later that day I got home and met some new friends… Mike, Jackie and they’re beautiful 15-month-old son chez From Pittsburgh we’re here. They are friends of our friends larry and Liz.… It was wonderful spending some time with them

I love days they have both new friends and old friends

Sunday night (delayed) – he Superb Owl

Today was a workday. We have a big demo do this week for our board meeting at Beta Study hall showed up and worked all day Sunday. Bad as it sounds it was really pretty fun. Such a great group of people and I think we’re building something fun and beautiful

about five I headed home and picked up Dianne and we went to tim and jens To watch the Super Bowl. They had a great spread a snack food… And we really enjoyed watching the game and the commercials. I have to admit I really enjoyed watching football this year

One thing I heard on the radio early today was that some people choose instead of celebrating the Super Bowl they celebrate the superb owl… Just a difference of one space in a whole different focus on endangered birds 🙂

Words are fun like that

Saturday night (delayed) – home day

It was so nice being at home. We got in a good snowshoe after a fall start. We both had sock fails that required us to go home and change. Even so I ended up with blisters from my new boots.… It was beautiful snowshoeing we went way up around Honey Hollow into some territory we’ve never seen. The snow is still quite thick despite the warm weather.

Later that evening our friends Paul, Ellen and their dog Giorgia came over. Paul brought his brand new tenor guitar and serenaded us all evening. He’s such a great musician and great storyteller. I’ve known him longer than anyone else i’ve known in Vermont

Just being around them brings back such great memories
