Really satisfying OK… Not much happened which is beautiful. We did some work around the yard… Help GabÉ with his taxes and then later on we actually had some of our first drop by guests since immunization. Our friends Paul and Ellen and their kids itsy And Claire came by and hang out for a while. It was so nice to be able to sit down outside… Safely… With no masks

I woke up this morning to an email from my mom telling me that my last nights blog didn’t make sense. I had to agree with her. It was a combination of doing a quick blog as I was about to jump in the bathtub using Siri. I frequently dictate these things and never look at the results. Partially that’s laziness and partially it’s because I’m so dyslexic I don’t really know how to spell things anyway
It only took me a few seconds to correct what I was trying to say… It reminded me of the acronym DBNR. I first saw that on an letter from our doctor about the physical I once had. I asked him what DBNR meant . He told me it was “dictated but not read”… What a great concept.… I’ll try to be a little bit more careful to read what Siri thinks I mean :-)
Anyway… I’m very glad it’s Friday. I’m finding it really hard to focus on work these days…

Diane did a bunch of Sam stunt yesterday… It’s remarkable how quickly we run out of these
I spent some time today going through so now 300,000 pictures we have in Google… I have to curate them and label them and do a couple of other things… Vacation if I’m on like this they just can’t resist sharing
One other thing that happened today… We had our first in-house vaccinated visitor. A good friend Kevin stopped by and we got to hang out with him. It actually felt a little bit like normal

Happy Earth Day everybody i gave two talks today but didn’t do either of them live… they were bothrecorded last week… It’s weird to get comments and questions about something you did many days ago… I had to remember what I said
Anyway… It was a funny Earth Day special fact it snowed like crazy. It really looks like winter again with several inches of snow everywhere
Tonight was special in another way as well… We went over to our friend Andy and ‘Jen’s for Andy’s birthday. It was our first meal inside with another couple for… I don’t know. … At least six months. It’s kind of weird to start getting used to seeing people again now that were vaccinated…
It was a wonderful night… We sat around listening to the Grateful Dead… Ate some good food and caught up. The dog Max really took to me so I spent a lot of time scratching a dog … Some thing I’ve missed so much!

It snowed hard all day .. around 6 diane , Kyle and I headed up wilderness trail at Bolton to try to get in some sledding . There was at least 8 inches of new dense snow
I know it’s April 21 but I’d always prefer snow to rain !
