Saturday night – Ben’s brithday

Dan and I spent a good portion of the day in a yoga/meditation workshop which was very nice. We did venture out of the house for one of the first times in a year to go to fran and’s 70th surprise birthday party… It was a pretty small gathering… we all dressed up as me
mbers of the royal court as we welcomed “king” back… That’s been his nickname for as long as I’ve known him… Probably 20 years

We all got there around three and set up… Then he showed up with Jerry around 330…He was genuinely surprised. We got him into his outfit then Duane, Gizzo, Pelch and I carried him into the party and a homemade litter

Even with masks and social distancing… It was actually seeing other people… It felt… Almost normal… If anything about these crazy times or these crazy people could be considered normal… I liked it

happy birthday Cohnini .. Happy to know you !

Friday night – back again I think

I’m still trying to debug a serious problem with my blog. It has to do with the XML-RPC protocol in WordPress. Something changed but I don’t think it was anything I did. So now neither my phone app nor my cross posting from IFTTTT is working. I’ve been on the phone for hours with startlogic where I host my blog and no luck .

I’ll still keep trying to make short ientries until I can get it fixed..

for now.. here are some eggs from the VYCC Chickens..
pretty beautiful !

more when thing are working again

Wed night – Saint Paddy’s day…and one year in quarantine

Today marks exactly one year of lockdown for me. My last face-to-face work meeting was March 17 in Boston. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year.… A lot as happened and very little has happened at the same time. It’s really amazing when you think what we were all able to do without seeing each other. I’m really looking forward to getting back to seeing friends… I’m grateful for making it this far.

Today is also Saint Paddy’s day… In honor of that Diane made avocado salad and we a lot of broccoli for dinner.… Saint Paddy’s day always makes me think of sam. He really loved flogging Molly and I love these pictures of him wearing his Flogging Molly shirt

Dang… My website is really trying to block me here. It won’t let me upload pictures. I’ll do it from somewhere else
