Last Sunday ‘Diane and I took a great hike… I haven’t written about it now because world situation is troubled me so much… But I wanted to share the pictures we took. We decided to take a hike up Stimpson mountain to see if we could find the old airplane Beacon… My late friend Sumner Senior used to talk about this place. Nobody I know I’ve ever seen it other than him. Anyway we headed up to Little River and walked up the VAST snowmobile trail. It was a beautiful hike and a cool day

We eventually found the tower after about 40 minutes of bushwhacking around the top of the mountain. We’ve been about to give up and Diane suggested I look over it one more hill there it was. Pretty hard to mess it’s 80 feet tall… It’s in pretty good shape considering it’s probably from World War II era. It was too cold for us to go all the way to the top… But someday I’d like to. It’s amazing that something this big has been this hidden from us for almost 40 years that we’ve lived here

There’s always something new to see no matter how long you’ve been in one place

George Floyd’s death is such an outrage .. I don’t really know what to say. My heart goes out to all the people who have Been victimized and oppressed For so long that it’s come to violence. I only hope that we can find some leadership.l That can help us all Back away from this Cliff
