Wednesday night -Vermont Council on foreign affairs

Today I had two interesting opportunities to talk to the Vermont Council on foreign affairs. This is yet another event that I was to have done in person… But ended up as another web meeting. It was really fun. They were a group of very interesting and civic ly engage people from all different parts of the community. We had the former lieutenant governor, retired supreme court justice, real estate people, professors… I was there talking about AI and the Green Mountain’s. It was basically a review of the AI task force… (Which is still going on it turns out)… They were a fantastic bunch of people with great questions. One thing I did notice is that many of them said “I don’t know much about technology”… And then asked very educated questions about technology.… What I thought was funny is that very few people would say “I don’t know much about government” before voicing an opinion… It might be a very good disclaimer that we should all use.… Very fun…

Tuesday night – snowy May

I work till about 2 o’clock last night… I walked outside and the ground was completely covered with snow. Snow in me is not unusual… But this much is kind of unusual.… I’m betting today was the last major snow… But who knows.

Anyway it’s beautiful to watch it accumulate… Here’s the house In one of the last couple of days… Fun to watch the snow come and go

Monday night – late night

Getting close to 2 AM… Had a late night project to make a movie for the CMU electrical engineer in graduation. It’s funny to be a graduation speaker remotely.… Anyway fun hanging out at my shop that late. I made a huge mess… I guess I’ll clean it up tomorrow.

Everything is covered with snow outside…. Happy may !
