Wednesday night – in to the future

Max and Becky finished their last chores around the old house on Sibley Road… It’s out in the countryside about 18 miles from Santa Fe. It’s been a great place for them to live. Today we met them there around 6 o’clock to finish moving maxes meal, a bunch of tools, reinstall some screen doors, remove the Wi-Fi antenna and some other stuff. We also had a small bonfire to get rid of some stuff and just to mark the passing. It was really a nice exit.

It was a Beautiful night to say goodbye to this wonderful rental.

The moon and Venus are high in the sky

Max and Becky’s friend Pete helped us move all the rest of that stuff . We so appreciate his help!…

We went back to the new place on Cortez unpacked all of it while Diane went and got us some really good Mexican food. Mac made us a fire .. it really is starting to feel like a home!

It’s even more of a home now that I’ve been able to fix the kitchen sink’s and replace all of the guts of the shower… It was a much bigger job than I anticipated. The old one had been improperly installed… So removing it was a huge deal.

We’re exhausted now… This is a pretty high effort vacation for us!… It’s nice to be able to help out Max and Becky

Monday night – leaving Sibley

Diane and I spent most of the day helping clean out Max and Becky’s old house on sibly … We scrubbed and sanded and painted and dusted and hammered.. The old place is looking pretty good.. We really liked our stays there… We’re going to miss that place. I walked around their yard.. up to the train tracks..

Then I climbed up and put a Samstone on the crazy stainless steel obelisk .in the yard. It Was put there by someone in the 90s who said he was a geomancer and then a bunch of energy lines converge there.…

It’ll be fun getting used to the new place in town.. Tomorrow starts the work to help fix that place up

Sunday night (delayed) – chicken run

Yesterday was messy… In every regard. It started out with snow and hail… Actually help with thunder and lightning if you can believe it.… But most of the day was devoted to moving the chickens from Max and Becky’s place On Sibley Road… To their new home in Santa Fe. That meant making out the two chicken coops… Disassembling them were possible. Taking down the fence is so that we could get them into the truck. Driving all of that stuff into the city and taking them out of the truck and positioning them in the very nice new pen but Max and Becky have built. Then driving back to Sibley Road,Wrangling the chickens into boxes and driving them to their new home.

The day gave us rain and snow and lots and lots of chicken poop. It is in every pore of our body and our clothes and hair and just now about 24 hours later we’re finally clean

We did get a shower last night and drove back over to Max Becky’s and then out for a really nice quick dinner. Then Max Diane and I went to meow Wolf to see a great show ( Brother Ali)… I love going to music there

Ok.. gotta post this .. so I can do today
