Then i drove mom back to Albuquerque for her flight . It’s been nice hanging out with her

From there i went back to max and beckys new house were everyone had worked through the day . Diane did sparkling , gabe removed baseboard trim, max and beckys did all

That night we went to a multi artist show at meow wolf . They had some amazing DJ s

I’m doing these posts from memory since we didn’t have enough bandwidth to post anything from the Airbnb .

Let me see if i can remember what happened on Friday ..

We woke to a snowman that have built the night before and diane finishes in the morning

I know we worked at Max and beckys new house.

My mom met up with her old friend Carol and we went to n amazing Mexican place that diane and is found last thanksgiving . It’s called Mucho Gusto and it has the BEST mole in the universe

We woke to about a foot of snow here. It’s beautiful. It also kept us around the house(s) all day which was so nice . We had ovens in 3 houses working on thanksgiving dinner.

We loaded the van and successfully made it down the steep hill from the Airbnb

We prepared the test of the meal

At max and Becky’s

We toasted being together and toasted those of us there in spirit.. Sam , dad, Marcia and gabe

Then we begged out on the couch and played Dixet

And saw a young coyote on the way home

I felt so thankful to be there with all of my family

Hope you all had a reflective and fulfilling thanksgiving too !

Posting late because there’s not much Wifi where we are

Today I took my mom out to Santa Fe to see a little bit of the old city. Full of tourist stuff.. but I like the architecture

Our walk included a visit to the NM history museum . There are two pieces max helped build i cling this cool “making history” wall. And a gear wall to recognize donations

After that we headed to Meow Wolf where max and Becky work to show mom

We headed back to Lang to pick up diane the. Headed back to SF to pick up Gabe (an hour roundtrip)

We’d moved Gabe’s flight earlier in the day because of the snow coming and it paid off. We saw later that his flight was both late and diverted to Albuquerque.

We picked gabe up And headed to max and Beckys new house . We all drank a champagne toast there . It’s so cool they have their own Place .

From there we headed to mucho gusto , a Mexican place that diane and I found last year . It had the best Mole I’ve ever had !

The. Back to max and Backus . The snow was falling and driving was really really bad . We parked the car at the Airbnb then walked to max and beckys through the deep snow . Max snuck up on us and surprised us on the road with a red flashlight

Super fun hanging out .. we walked back .7 miles through the thick snow and went to sleep
