Long productive day working with Florin. Day ended with a really great visit with my cousins Sam and Martha . We hadn’t seen them in a long time . They invited forum to come along too which was really nice. It was so great catching up with them. One cool surprise was Martha’s paintings . She took up paintings g a few years back and she’s really, really good . We got to hear about Sams work on a new form of funcal MRI . It’s based on the change in the mechanical properties of neurons when they fire .

We had a great meal and had a good time catching up. It was fun having florins perspectives on the world mixed in

Diane, Florin and I drove out to Holyoke this morning and met up with Kris and his wife Helen at the mass green high performance data center. It was the first time that Florin had gotten to see satori… And he was the main architect of it. We had a lot of fun… We put together a tiny opening ceremony

Then. We all had a nice Lunch

Later in the evening we met up with our friends Henry and Milan… And their friend (and now ours) Cyrus For a great dinner

Long and busy day… Glad to be jumping in the tub now

It’s hard being away from home so often. .. but it really helps when the folks down here help me feel at home . The people at the catalyst cafe in our building are always so nice to me . They always know exactly what I want to order.. here are Mindy and Jesus .. thanks for making me feel at home !

Walked around work for half a day wondering where everyone was .. then I remembered it was Veterans Day ! Everyone was home! My friend Florin is visiting so I took him for a tour of MIT we came across a Veterans Day ceremony in building 10. For me thinking of my dad Hugh and my father in law Gabe . Their years in the service really shaped them
