Monday night – happy new year!

About 1130 on a slushy New Year’s eve… Diane and I are home and ready for bed. I think I have Taxi duty for gabe and raya at 2 AM so trying to get a little sleep… And have an event full year… Looking forward to the next one

Today was fun and slow… We took a hike with the dogs around Libbey’s Lookout

We had a downtown around 6 PM. Gabe was performing with Circ de Fuego And we had to get them down for 645 call. We were down there also to check out the new highlight New Year’s eve festival that Is replacing the old first night. It was a great time. We basically hung out at the waterfront and checked out all the stuff at the Echo Center.

The Cirque de Fuego show Was really excellent. Chris and Kim do such a great job at organizing these things. Gabe was lead safety And did Fire blowing. He was in great form. Check out some of these pics

Right after the fire show came fireworks… They were great. It was good they got them in because it was starting to rain.

Hey soon as we could we went to Ecco to get out of the rain. It was a great scene. There was lots of great art and a ton of people dancing talking… I was very happy to be there

Jacket brought wasters again… It felt funny eating oysters in an aquarium

I had fun trying to photograph the fish with reflections of our LED headbands

Now it’s time for a few hours of sleep before I have to go pick up the kids downtown. I hope everybody’s having a good end of the year… Let’s make next year fun and interesting

Saturday night – s’morestice

Just back from a wonderful festival I can’t meet in Middlesex. It was the S’morestice! Organize by a bunch of my friends… It was hopefully the first of an annual tradition to make the worlds largest s’more in Middlesex. The event tonight was just absolutely incredible. There were fire affects (including mine) fire dancers (Including gabe)music, some more making… There must’ve been more than 500 people there tonight. I have so many pictures but it will take me a couple of hours tomorrow to go through them to post. Just want to say it was a fabulous time. I want to thank my friends Pelch, Russ, Alan, john, Jon, Jerry For putting this together… And a huge thanks to Diane for helping me with set up and proud safety…I will include one picture… My friend Anne Watson, the states coolest science teacher And the mayor of our capital… Got this great shot of the two of us next to my flame thrower

Now that’s a great way to spend a chilly evening.

Much more tomorrow

Nite all, nite Sam

Friday night – make or break

Funny day… I started off nice and slow with Joe and Pat here. The weather was terrible so we got some extra time to hang out with them which was really nice. It was great seeing them.

After they left Diane and I went into town. She went to yoga and I went to the hardware store then we met up and She help me make the final choice on my new glasses. I’ll get them in about three weeks… Which will be great because then I’ll be able to see you again.

This afternoon gabe and I worked a little bit more on the Propane poofer For tomorrow’s s’morestice in Middlesex.

Around 7 o’clock our friend james from Boston him up and he and I worked for several hours to try to add some new features to the pool for… Long story short none of them worked. So I’m back to basic operations. Interesting lesson un ambition. Nonetheless it’s still a very cool effect and hopefully will be fun tomorrow.

OK… Got to get some sleep.

More tomorrow

Night all, night sam.
