DIane and I woke up extra early (4:45) in order to drive to glacier national park for a hike. It turns out that most of the roads to the part of the park we want to see are closed due to all the fires.. So we blew it off and  went  up the Danny On trail.. a  few miles from here. It was beautiful.. The air was cool and full of smoke. It actually smells pretty good !

aroudn midnaight gabe and raya showed up.. they’ve driven 4700 miles !  SO great to have them here !

The day was mercifully cooler . The smoke cleared a bit . We all lazed around and ate and drank all day.. after running 5 miles so i didn’t feel that guilty

Work is still popping up in my thoughts too much so I definitely need to run longer tomorrow

I fell asleep last night without blogging. I have hardly ever done that.

Greetings from whitefish Montana. Diane and i are out here for a family reunion. Gabe and max both will show up on Tuesday . My mom, my sister and her family and my brother and his family are all here. As a cool Su Rowe also have our good friend Nate and his climbing buddy Jacon
