Spent the day workign around the house.. still  working to finish up the major house purge of last qweek.. and prep for our 150th year Sesquequecentenial birthday party   for our house on July 27 https://www.facebook.com/events/241306480004728/

early evening Kate ellen. diane and I went over the app gap in search of food.. we ate at mad taco in waitsfield (good !)

then headed to Phantom Theatre in Warren.. It’s a cool old barn built from a sears and robuck kit back in the 20’s (I think) we’ve seen one other play there.. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the play tonight was interesting.. a little bit of a downer.. but excellent acting.. it was called the Baby Dance put on by a very competitent company from NYC> 

 

 

I remebered one strange fetature abot the building.. the owner Jim E did his masters in Arhcitecture at MIT. somehow that lead to their being several formerly MIT doors used in the building .. like this one fro building 3..

just back from an amazing Dispatch concert at Shelburne museam… 

went with Steve and Kate.. ran into so many other friends there x.. here’s juba. ellen and diane 

 

Chad from dispatch looked  good and healthy,. felt good to see him

Busy day today. Was happy when evening came around. Our friends Kate and Steve are up from Pennsylvania.. we grilled and ate outside in the beautiful

weather.

we lit a fire which was a treat in the cool air

 

we traded stories about all being in Pittsburgh together.. hard to believe it was 30 years ago !

another great nights sleep.. 

got up early and jumped in the lake.. that woke me up//

 

breakfast was pancakes.. but I ate leftovers.. 

 

 

then we went out for an 8 mile paddle.. first mission was to take beer to o check, the caretaker on the next island over.. knghts islan 

 

luckily we foudn chuck right away when we landed on knoghts island. coud have been a difficult time finding him 

 

I made a samstone to leaver tehre 

 

I also fond an awesome heart shaped rock !

 

then john. ben and I headed another 2 miles over to North hero and her’s welcoem store.. 

 

binged up on ice cream !

 

then bakc 2 miles ot pick up jeff.. and  another 2 miles bk to our camp 

 

happy hour prep was in fuil; swing.. frozen drik  and cheese fondue were on the menu 

 

ben braught special fondue ingreadiants.. kirsh, etc. 

 

we each made our own fondue forks .. and ther ewas a judging.. mine was considere3d to avante garde.. (and too dirty) 

 

the fondue was fab !

 

pretty soon ist was tiem for me to go.. .. I had to be back today to get my car ut before sundown when they lock the gate 

 

ben . john and moyers escorted me back.. so nice of them.. 

soon we were back on the mainland at kilkare park
