Fascinating mix of a day.. it began with an early morning trip to shelboune farm for the 2nd annual Champlain Maikerfaire.. It was a gorgeous day and the coach barn was full of cool people and their cool stuff. It was a wonderful array of makers and their wares.. . i could only stay for a few hours today as I'm stressing out on a talk I am giving on play next week.. How ironic is that ?
first guy I ran into was my friend Jeff from Sparkfun.. he's driven out here from Colorado to be with us. He and his team crisscross the country doing random acts of electronic outreach.they are just SO awesome .
team essex was there with their robots
We had spooky robot face lady
tons of things that drove . flew and swam
plenty of robots and their masters.

and we were there with the Gnerator makerspace announce. There's the wonderful jacobs ladder that Colin and his dad built for us
electrified playdoh
compressed air engines..
electric bikes
3d printers
homemde tools
my freind john was there with code I'd written..

then it was time to go.. Hope the rest of today and tomorrow go well. Please drop by tomorrow to see the show. You wont be dissapointed…
I got home around 12:30 and got to wrok on my talk.. we took a break mid afternoon to go watch a little homecoming soccer.. grab a sandwich for gabe
then Diane and I took the dogs for a betiful fall hike up libbys look out on the preston pond trail
the final chapter of the evening was very amazing. When our freind Dylan died more than 2 years ago, his heart was transplanted into a year old women in Connecticut. Shortly after that, the recipient wos name is Roxanne reached out to me. SHe'd found my blog via facebook and figured out that her new heart had been dylans…
from there she reached out to Dylan's family .. and they became friends. Tonight Roxane, her husband mike and their son cameron drove up from Connecticut to have dinner with Dylan's folks Jim and Sue..
Rocanne and family were really great. .they were fun and friendly..
it was amazing to meet roxanne face to face and realize dylans heart is beatign in her chest.. what a miracle !
OK.. I really need to get to sleep.. more tomorrow
