wow.. was I busy today. from 8 till about 6 I hardly had time to stand up .. that’s why I was glad at 6 when I could close the laptop and head downtown with Diane to meet up with Terry and Ellen one more time before they go..It was so great getting to hang out with them.. Ellen and my friend Sandy are my oldest friends in the world. Its nice to still have that connection after nearly 40 years !
They’ve spent the week here since the triathlon that Ellen competed in last Saturday.. BTW.. I just learned that my good friend Kyle W. from California came in 2nd in his 50+ age group in that same race. He’s going to London to defend his title.. he came in first last year in the international competition in Beijing.. How cool is that.. ?!?!
Hmmm.. that seems about it for the day.. though I did get some great responses to my ‘geekonomics’ post yesterday about the economic and ecological viability of small scale wind and solar (Please comment if you have an opinion or better yet data there to share)
Well.. since I don’t have much more to report for today.. let me share what I was doing exactly a year ago.. gabe and I were in Igazu Falls in the intersection of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay freezing our **ses off running aorund in the rain around the beautiful falls. we then ‘accidentaly’ snuck into Paraguay by way of Brazil.. which Gabe didn’t have a visa for. and almost got stuck.. I’m so glad I’m home and warm in my bed tonight !
OK.. thats it for tonight.. more tomorrow..
Nite all, nite sam
