Wednesday night – happy birthday Tim

Insanely busy day started early and late. Lots going on at work. After work also had lots going on.

First was an announcement at 6:30 at Main Street landing about a 35k$ grant that Code for BTV received from the Knight foundation. It's going to pay for the Burlington civic cloud. Th perfect companion to burlingtons recent ignite grantt hat will bring gigabit ethernet to most of the city. Our brigade leader Bradley announced the award then several of us talked about our code for BTV projects. I described Lakecraft while My friend Nick gave a demonstration for the folks in the audience.

After that, had to run over to my friend Craig's to pick up a couple of the keyboards projects that need new firmware upgrades. And then I dropped by redraws for the MIT club winter meeting. As it turns out this is the hundredth anniversary of the MIT mascot Tim. (That's MIT spelled backwards) . No wonder we've never been considered cool… With the mascot like this.

We even had my teeth founder, William Barton Rogers, at the head of the table.

You got a love a place who embraces it's geekyness like this. I wish you 100 more MIT . thanks for all you've done in my life.

Night , night Sam
