Several hundred folks showed up tonight to remember elijah, share stories, eat and listen tto great music..  eat, and have fun. . It was a great turn out

!

The mood was upbeat and positive.. people werehugging and talking.. and enjoying themselves.. it felt very good.  Elijah’s family were there and they were doign well I saw smiles and tears.. just as it’s bound to be. We really care for that family. It was good to see them so surrounded with love.   The weather was threatening rain.. but it held off for the party.. a As we drove away the sun came out and we saw the most amazing rainbow !  A gift from Elijah !

After the party, Diane and I went downtown and met up with our friend Ellen. We walked down to the waterfront to hear one of my favorite bands.. Umphrey’s McGee.. We got there at the end of the first set.. so we didn’t even bother buying tickets. The sounds was great out on the boardwalk.. so we watched the sunset, and the peopl and listened to the great music.

Really sleepy now.. better call it a night..

nite all. nite sam
