I just learned that my good friend Jleigh Howard passed away this morning at Central Vermont Hospital.I found out that Jleigh wasnt feeleing well the week before last.. I went to see her in CHV, .. I called her dad today to see how she was doing.. And she had just passed away.
Jleigh and i have been friends for about 12 years . We worked together closely at IBM. jleigh was always funny, happy and optimistic no matter what life threw at her.. She helped me through some of the toughest days of my life.. I will never forget .. She walked down with me to my office the first day i came back to work after Sam died.. She open the door and stayed with me for a long time as i cried my eyes out..as i looked at all the family pictures on the wall..
She loved her family.. Loved her friends and loved her dogs. She worked for years with Pug Rescue..
I still cant believe shes gone.. I will always remeber her and her wonderful smile and laugh…

Thanks again for your phone call yesterday. I, too, will miss her wit and her optimism and overall great heart. She was a committed fighter until the end, both for herself and for the pugs that she rescued. She made a great impact on this earth and it’s so sad to me that Cancer took yet another important person from us. RIP Jleigh.
Jleigh and I were good friends at IBM. We used to entertain the cafeteria folks at lunch time with all our giggling. I will miss her very much. She was a very special lady and friend. She helped making work every day a little easier.
Now you have your wings too my friend. I love you and know that you are in a wonderful place.
