Happy Groundhog Day!!! .. It’s a bit like that over here.. I woke up in the same hotel.. and couldn’t quite remember what day it was..   Just like the movie

I don’t even know how to say ‘groundhog’ in German..The closest I can find is Waldmurmeltier … (woodchuck)… This is the second time I’ve found myself in a German speaking country on this most sacred of days.. Last time was 1980.. It was memorable in that I couldn’t figure out how to say it.. much less explain it then either..   The thought that a rodents shadow would be a harbinger of seasonal changes is crazy.. i know.. but then again.. So is the the thought that mercury;s orbit could effect my computer like it’s been doing…

Well.. i hope your Waldmurmeltier Tag is joyous and warm.. and that wherever your shadow falls, I hope it’s a happy space !
