Wednesday night – compressed civic duty

I am in another insanely busy work period.. with lots of prep for an upcoming conference. Diane has been helping me which I really appreciate.  I was able to steal 3 hours of time for civic duty this evening which proved to be the best part of my day.

First I went to Echo to look at some new color tests for Lakebright .. Alex, Rachel , Joe and team are working get the software interfaces to the piece ready for use. It’s looking really good !

then off to generator for a meeting about this summer’s Festival of Fools that my freind Woody is organizing. Generator was packed tonight which was great to see.. Dean gave us a special demo of her sound projects.

then finally over to Ted’s house for a reception for Matt Dunne, my friend who’s running for Governor.. He’s a great guy.. until last week he worked at Google and was responsible for helping us get the generous grant to build Lakebright.

It was fun to get out and see some other folks..

now it tomorrow already.. gotta get some sleep

nite all, nite sam
