Monday night – gluten free fourth

Happy fourth of July friends.. It’s a day I like not just for it’s natioanl significance.. but for what it means to our town. It’s the one day of the year that you can see just abotu everyoen in town and check in.. Tis year .. there were more grandkids, more tattoos,.. more politics… less gluten

there were also alot fewer people.. both in and watching the arade.. nto sure how to read that .

there was a nice tribute to Cheif Levesque

my freind Tim was in our parade.. which was cool to see

after the parade we hit the park.. and baught our share of raffle tickets.

we resisted the french fry tent.

afterwards we went back to the house for margaritas and nachos.. Beleive it or not.. i’ve never made a margaerta..

i managed to do just fine.. drinigning one in the middle of the day drove me to take alonggggg nap.

the rest of the day was pretty sleep.. a few friends came buy.. then we headed to volunteers green for fireworks.

they were pretty good for a small town.. hard to beat last nights in burlington..

it was a slower than ususal fourth.. kind of a muted mood..

guess thats what the country is feelign these days.. just interesting to note.

i’m glad I do live here… both my country and my town

nite all, nite sam
