THanks to all the (6!) readers last night who identified this beutiful relic as an”arreator”.. i cant tell you what a pkeasant shock it is to hear from folks out there who read this blog.. The first item is an old aerator for soil. It could be pulled or rolled over the soil by a tractor or beast of burden. You can still buy modern ones today and they are still used all around. (I am from Western Kentucky, we grow up seeing all kinds of implements such as these.) Thought I’d offer at least an answer to your curiosity, I know it would have pestered me until I found out what something unknown to me was if I didn’t find out myself. The curse of a curious mind I guess. Hope I helped.
