I woke today at 7… then remebered that meant 6.. I had so much fun running aroudn the house fixing all the clocks… why the heck do we have that many clocks in our life…. and how can I still always be running late š

Very nice day doing nothing around the house.. got outside only for a run.. it was cold and wet.. .. a perfect day just to hang out.
We had freinds over for dinner that we hadn’t seen in a long time.. very nice talking.. we were all pretty tired of talkign politics, so great variety of other topics filled in.
Gary brought two blow tourches and ued them to finsh the flan that JeanĀ Ā and he had made.. gotta love cooking with a blow torch !

Busy day… broke for lunch at 2 to have lunch with my freind Ron. Got out of the car.. and…
did I hear that right ?! .. I did ! Ā … christmas carols coming from the outdoor mall speakers !

got to Mexicali’s and was happily surprised to find not only Ron but orur good buddy David.. we had a great luch catching up aout all sorts of things> 3d prining, complex analysis, family, horses, hiking, teaching ,old bosses , algorythms,Ā students , engagements , beer (!)
left from there and filled up my dewer with liguid nitrogen for some planned mischief on Sunday witht eh ski and snowbaord thanksgiving dinner at our house.. should be fun.. !

I’m gonna be traveling next week so i took the time to go to the town office today to vote
i can never go in there without remembering that the bell on top once hung in our house .. it even says ‘jonesville academy’
i brought all my id in case i neededĀ Ā to identify myself.. .. no need there.. Linda, the town clrek greeted me by saying ‘hi john’
i felt cool holding the ballot !
