Not much happened today .. except i went to the dentist.. always enjoy that actually. It’s such a strange pleasure having your teeth cleaned by somebody else.

hmm.. the only other thing that happened of note is that I got a link to a radio podcast that this really cool guy named Jeff Sandhu made about our meeting at Interconnect a few weeks back in Las Vegas. Jeff is a really good radio journalist on Radio Malaysia. I really like what he did with out conversation.. You can hear it here

We’re two days into daylight savings.. or actually.. off daylight savings.. and I LOVE it.. I love waking up before sunrise.. and I love it still being light at 7pm. i feel 4.1% happier just because of getting to watch the sun rise.. and for hearing the birds in the morning.

At yoga tonight we were all talking about how the tie change effects us.. everyone’s spirits seem to be lifted.. It made me want to learn more about DST.. I didn’t realize it was invented by a guy from new Zealand in 1894.. .. I do remember that it was reinstated during the 1970’s energy crisis..

i learned from our friend betsy that arizona doesn’t do DST.. thats where she grew u… In fact most of the rod doesn’t. mostly the US, Europe, Mongolia and half of Brazil.. (why half)

i’m just glad we do.. Since we didn’t have a winter, it might as well be spring !

Today is approximate pi day 3.14.16 (if you round up). Lots of things happened today.:

• Ibm started giving out free Raspberry Pi’s if you sign up for a test drive of Watson IoT Platform
• MIT sent out its student accept letters
• IBM HAD A PI DAY POT LUCK
• Generator had a members meeting
• VOmit (Vermont’s own MIT Club) had an officers meeting

All in order to celebrate the most important constant in the world :

I went tot eh Pi day IBM bash.. brought bought a store bought pizza.. a faux aux, I know.. but it was good !

there was even a contest for reciting the digits of pi.. .i came in fifth 🙁 

i also got my selfie camera fixed today.. yay..

but somehow got stuck midday in a bunch of calls. I spent 3 hours working in my car in the rain because I couldn’t get off the computer long enough to drive home .. 

but..t hat allowed me to go tot he very good Generator members meeting

from there I headed over to the VOMIT (Vermonts own MIT club officers meeting graciously hosted by Jeff and Biz..

biz and jeff outdid themselves again on pi geekiness (look at what they did last year ! )

Diane and I got back home around 8PM. We flew into Montreal then drove back down.. We stopped to see babe on the way home.. he just got back from costa rica today.. he also had a great trip

Our trip was wonderful ..

I’m too tired to type.. so gonna have to stop here..
