Sunday afternoon – Drawn in

On my way to Munich again.. reading a great book by one of my favoorite authors, Michal Carbon.. the book is called Moonglow.. and i’m finding that I like it more, the deeper I get in it. It was a bit of slow start for me.. especailly as I tend to read about 2 pages before falling asleep..

I wont give any spoilers here.. but it’s a story that evolves from fiction to fact without ever acknowledging it’s doing so.. In doing that.. it has triggered many memories I have of grwoign up in the space craze of the 60’s and 70’s .. it mixes in quite a bit of the zany neuroses  of grwoign up with liberal jewish parnts.. and a little bit of magical realism.. I think.. or maybe just elements of a charmed life.

Their aren’t many characters. but I still get them confused.. they have complicated histories.. they are good people doing not always good things… trying to get by.

I only have a few more pages till its over.. and dont want it to end..

can you ask any more from a book ?

nite all, nite sam

  1. Just finished reading this book. Agree it’s a slow start, and it took me a while to comprehend the Moon theme. Good overall summary- what is truth, what is fiction and does it matter if you love one another. Enjoy.
