Ahhhhh. !
I took the day off today which felt so good. I started with a Jolts and volts show at Browns River middle school… There were about 85 kids including my friend adah in the audience . It’s been many months since I had done a show and it was so much fun to be in front of kids again. Miraculously, all the equipment worked
I forgot to get any pictures… I turn on some high voltage stuff and realized I had my phone in my pocket and tossed it in a corner

The afternoon was gorgeous and the snow was still pretty deep… Dianne and I took the girls out snowshoeing again. The light was so beautiful.

GabÉ and raya came over for dinner and Diane made the most wonderful meal… Tom KA and pad Thai…

It’s been more than a year since we’ve been able ot get out on snowshoes. Last year was the least snowy year in recorded history.. this year was heading that way as well.. until we got a good dump of snow last week. It was great coming back to the place lookign like winter. there’s a foot or sow of snow around.. thoguh today’s 345 degree weather makes me wonder how long it’s gonna stick around. Diane and I felt the urge to get outside and play in the snow.. We took a medium long snowshoe wit the girls. Chai is nursing a pulled muscle in her hip.. so we took it easy. It was so nice getting off the road and into semi deep thick snow.

the dogs arent the only creatures tired in this hose now. Diane and I are strugglign o stay awake…..

so .. it’s 8 am.. can i go to sleep yet ?

It’s been a good trip.
. I was there two weeks Diane 10 days. It is always so nice traveling together.

It’s also so nice to have the genius of things and Munich how opening behind me. Looking forward to getting a little bit more balance in my days

As you may recall I managed to really hit my head on Wednesday when I ran into a glass wall. On Thursday the medics there told me I probably had a mild concussion. I feel much better now… But I noticed that I was still being bothered by bright lights.

I guess that is one of the symptoms of a small concussion. Anyway on the mend now

I can believe it.. but I actually FORGOT to blog last night. I was so  happy.. and so pleasantly exhausted from the three days of our Genius of Things event. Our Munich center is now officially open… We had more than 900 people visit us .. It was so fun being able to show everyone our IoT capabilities . I have to say I’m really proud of our technology and our team…. i’m particularly grateful for all of the  help we got from folks across the company to pull this off .  It was an amazing event.. and our solutions..  worked so well  !

When the door finally shut at 4PM we all met on the 26th floor for a party/debrief.. the mood was so great… we compared notes on the clients we’d met, the followups.. and we drank beer… lots of beer…   it felt SO good to relax..

From there.. a bunch of us went out for Thai… more beer, more debriefing.   I was surprised to hear how much we all wanted to still talk about work !By the time we got back to the hotel.. it was 11:30.. and we still had to pack.. We had to catch a taxi in the morning at 5:30…

as soon as the suitcases were zipped. I lay down to blog… and….

next thing I know it was morning !

we all deserve a night off.. no ?

now  on a plane back to the US with Diane  it’s been so great having her along  with me..  !
