Halloween night… Always our kids favorite night. Always a day of real nostalgia for us. I remember so many nights shuttling the kids to some neighborhood which actually had houses that were close enough together to actually get candy. I would wait back and take all the peanut butter cups!

The last several years we’ve been taking our young friend Finn out trick-or-treating. This year Finn is nine. He went as a shark… So Diane made us some really funny lifeguard outfits

It was pouring rain… But we weren’t the only ones braving the elements. That said it was almost 70° out and tomorrow is November. That’s like 30° warmer than it should’ve been. I wasn’t complaining

It was fun tromping around Hinesburg… Candy selection was good

GabÉ called in from Portland to say happy Halloween

The early part of the day was busy too. Lots of work stuff going on. But I took some time to go to Vermont business Council talk on AI by Tim Urban which was very entertaining and very good

I Had lunch with seven ibm new hires . It was so great meeting them. We’re scheming for something fun we can do together… Hopefully around outreach

Now I have to get out of my lifeguard costume and dry off. I have a funny feeling that the red sharpie Diane used on the costume is now what color I am underneath.

Just back from a quick round trip to Albany. I went down to help out my friends Jeff and will cash and Cindy with a major event for their hardware AI center. It was a really great event. I was able to talk to a whole bunch of folks from my company and from other companies. I gave a talk which went well.… I felt good to be around a bunch of hardware people again. Least I understood when they cracked a joke 🙂

We had 15 people here for yoga tonight… Diane had decorated yoga space with pumpkins and spooky lights and had a great playlist with crazy spooky music… It was pretty fun. Dinner was great we had bright orange spicy peanut butter squash soup. I love these Tuesday gatherings

Driving off early tomorrow morning so I’ve got to get some sleep. More tomorrow

Busy day… Started with a task force meeting at the University of Vermont and then an IBM thanksgiving day lunch … As early as it was it was fun to see everybody. I hardly ever go to the local IBM these aus

Ron and I took a long walk… I visited all of my old offices. It was a fun trip down memory lane

Tonight we took Deb out for her birthday. It was super fun going out on a weeknight like that

We went to the Reservoir… Highlight was a gin and tonic with five straws

Instead of dessert we all went and walked around in the grocery store. Hot times in a small town

OK… My bath is almost full. More tomorrow
