Last night Maks sent us the final version of ‘Diane’s birthday video. When Diane turned 60 a few weeks ago Max GabÉ and I gave her A first look at the birthday project. Max and GabÉ came up with the idea… We sent request out to many of Diane’s friends from all over… We ask them to print up a special image on a piece of paper and then film themselves moving it from side to side or up or down. Then Max did some amazing editing magic that made it look like everyone was passing the same piece of paper between themselves. It was an amazingly interesting technical process. Here’s what it looks like… Please watch till the end because it includes some outtakes of some of the video pictures at Max couldn’t fit into the first video and a surprise thank you from Diane at the end.
I love watching this video…’Diane means so much to so many of us. It was wonderful coming together to show her how much we love her

Super nice Sunday. Kind of hot and muggy… Almost hit 70. I’m not ready for that yet. Diane and I got the storm windows down downstairs and got the screens and all the windows… That helps.… Got the girls out for a walk in the field across the street. Chai was determined to get in the river…
Late morning Diane and I did one of our favorite hikes in reverse. We walked/ran Up the catamount trail and down Honey Hollow. The trees had managed to sprout leaves in the last week so everything had that bright spring green.
We Saw two good-sized snakes
Once we got home it was time to give the dogs a bath. They both really needed it. At this point I have to carry Jay up the stairs… But she seem to not mind getting scrubbed down.… Of course we played them both with treats
We put them out side in the warm sun to dry off… They both are so clean.
It’s time for my bath… I hope somebody feeds me treats !

Man… I don’t remember many times in my life when I look so much forward to the end of the week.… The days are blending together and I’m working so hard… Good thing is I’m trying to work in some fun I’m supposed to be doing other things.… Right now I’m working on a light up facemask that eventually will move when I talk.
