Sunday night – Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there… And sons and daughters and husband’s and wives of mothers. Mothers are a very cool concept… I have to say I’ve met one of the best. Happy Mother’s Day Diane… You are the best kid, doggy and garden mom I can imagine.. and that’s something I’m grateful for every day .. not just when hallmark tells us its time 🙂

We had a great mommas day .. we took a great hike down to a 19th century grist mill near Huntington gorge that was pretty amazing

We even saw part of the old stone grinding wheel

Sam is very much with us on days like this

We got to see the back of Huntington gorge which was pretty cool .

I ended up bringing home two ticks !

Ick !

Later on we had a video brunch with the boys

Also got to talk to my mom, Judy who’s and awesome mom . She’s back in MINNEAPOLIS after nine weeks staying with her sister and brother in law sis and Phil in Florida ( is hanks sis and Phil) . Now she’s quarantining for a few weeks back in her apartment in mpls

Happy Mother’s Day ma !

Also thinking of my late mother in law Marcia . We miss you !

Saturday night – May snow

Very nice and peaceful day. It’s very cold and windy… And we walk to about 3 inches of snow. It was beautiful…

We had a great brunch with Kyle and hunter

The we all went out and finished spreading the crushed rocks left over from the rework Diane led on the drainage on the left side of the house.

The rocks gave us a nearly new driveway !

Spent the rest of the day working on some fun electronics project s whic

H was wonderful. Haven’t had much time for fun recently

More tomorrow

Friday night – the ring

End of a very long work week. We all sat down to watch the last lord of the rings movie . 3 hours of total escape

Just destroy the ring in Mt Doom and everything works out ..

If everything in life were just that easy

Thursday night – Opening up

Even from our corner in the country we can see Vermont starting to open up a little more. I talked to Franz today about being outside playing golf… Going for a group bike rides and runs… We even had one of our first visitors today… Vicki and Greg drove by on their way to see friends in other parts of the state. We all kept a distance but it was sure great to see them.

I don’t think I’m ready to go out in the world yet… But it’s nice when the world comes to see us
