GabÉ turn 25 years old today… What an amazing kid. Super kind, super fun and super smart… He always inspires me to both work and play harder.… It’s weird not being able to see either Gabe or Maks because of Covid. We get together as often as we can on zoom. We talked to Gabe several times today… He was working really hard like he always is right now as he prepares for qualifying exams. It seem like he’s had a good day.

Since ‘Diane and I couldn’t be with him… We started the day super early with a hike up Camel’s hump. We Got on the trail around 6 AM and took a birthday picture for GabÉ at the top

We made Amazon cupcakes in GabÉ’s honor…

We fed them to our friends at our first outdoor socially distant yoga. We had about 15 people here for Yoga, dinner and then a movie on the side of the house

We got to talk to GabÉ again around 10 and gave him a zoom birthday cupcake. Max and Becky were there too which was great.. Max’s birthdays in a couple of weeks… We’re missing those boys

OK… Happy birthday Gabe. I’m super happy to be your Daddio. We love you very much

Heading to bed very early tonight because tomorrow is GabÉ’s birthday. We’re really missing being able to see him and max. we’re going to climb Camel’s hump tomorrow in honor of GabÉ’s birthday… And then zoom with him late at night… It’ll be a full day

Nice say around the house (like the last 90 days !)..    Diane helped me tune th small trebuchet that some friends and I built. It’s a test run for one we’re building that’s 3 times as big.. //

Pretty relaxed day here… Around 1 o’clock ‘Diane Kyle and I headed up to Underhill to walk at Mount Mansfield to the forehead. we took the butler trail and then. Wampahoofus. The last part of that trailer is a little rough for me because I’m really afraid of heights these days. It’s just exposed heights.… It’s something I never had as a kid but man it freaks me out now

It was worth the hike… It was beautiful up there… We walked with Kyle about 7/10 of a mile down to Long Trail and then she went on to Puffer Lodge for the night while we went back home

We got home in time to join Tim and Jen at Deb’s house for a really wonderful meal

Now time for bed
