Tuesday night – Our 35th anniversary!

Tehan and I have been married 35 years ago today!… And I am so happy to be so in love with this woman. It’s been a long crazy and fun journey

We mark the day by doing a hike up camels hump where we went up the boroughs trails then down the Alpine trail across to The Bamforth trail and down… It was about 10.7 mph perfect day. It is a great way to reenact Climbing camels or the day before we got married 35 years ago!

We had a nice quick picnic up on the top of camels up which is pretty chilly

On the Alpine Trail we took a short detour to see the wreckage of the plane hit the mountain just after World War II… It was decorated with American flags which was nice because several of the airman died that night. I believe there was only one survivor

It was a beautiful walk today… Lots of water and lots of great mushrooms. We also got a ton of blueberries… So we knew bears would be around. sure enough we saw some of their scat full of berries… We made enough noise they keep them away

All through the day though it was warm and most places you could tell that falls coming

We got back to the house around six quickly showered and headed out to Burlington define dinner. On the way we stopped at the round church where we got married… We try to do that every year

Who is the first time downtown in a long time. We checked out the new town park with us with the fountains… And we ran into our old drum teacher Stuart… We made it to the pokey place we wanted to eat at just say were closing. They stayed open for two more bowls just because it was our anniversary

Happy anniversary my love… Thank you for being with me on this crazy journey. I love you so much !

Monday night – another Day in Parrot-eyes

Super busy workday… Not enough hours in the day right now to get all the stuff that Hass to be crammed into September 10. Taking tomorrow off because it’s our anniversary!

Away no where do you think I could share from today is it my friend Cheryl’s mature parrot Sammy Is having some issues with his eyes… Seems he has cataracts too… Just like me. ‘Cheryl sent me this rather striking picture from his examination today where they put Florescin drops in to look at his corniest… That face is so expressive

Sunday night – neighbors

Nice day at home. ‘Diane and I managed to finish up the drainage project on the side of the house. Our friend Parker dug out a 9 foot trench on the river side of our house to help keep the basement dry… So far it’s worked great.… Dianne and I had to put in the metal edging add a ton more stone and I am quick garden clock down and then we shuffle the decorative blue stone on top. We moved several tons of material and it was incredibly satisfying And a ton of work…

While we were working our neighbors the pews all came by. The first time we’ve seen all the males in a family together in years. Was great catching up

Also jumped out to help my friend James rent a standup paddleboard paddle from our house down to the village. Haven’t checked in with them to see how it went… But looks like something fun to do

Saturday night – catching up

It’s about 3:30 am and I can’t sleep.. lots on my mind but all good

I’ve been sitting here on the couch trying to catch up on a week of missed blogging. It’s the longest ice gone without

Blogging in 15 years.. hi TA a weird mix of lots going on and not much going on. I have to decide how often I should’ve ronblig so it’s valuable and not a chore .. gotta think that through

Today was fun and busy . Diane and I worked on finishing the new drainage project along the duxbury rd side of the house . Our friend parker dug it out about 9 foot deep and put in a new drainage system to try and keep our basement dry. Diane and I are now putting the yard back together today we moved a ton not eof crushed stone in so we can bring it up to level and get it to match the other side of the house .

While we were working we saw a bumnch of small planes circling. I recognized them as being form my friends at beta. I knew that meant that they were going to get the plane that landed over at Pratt’s back in the air . Sure enough we heard a deep rumble and that huge plane came flying by. It circled our town twice and headed back to the airport , it s a beautiful 1969 Russian antonio biplane . Really nice to see it in the sky ! I

Knew my grid Kyle was piloting

Later tonight we went out to hear some great music in Lincoln . Our good friend john m and friends out in concerts here all through the summer . Great

Music and great people . Tonight was s the Eames brothers band from St. Albans and they were amazing!

Ok that catches me up for a week of blogging . Maybe I can sleep now ?
