Today fluffy ventured out with all its clouds.. THis was an opportunity to test soem of the rigging like for the fire poll.

After a long day workign on Fluffy stuff, Diane and I went down to have dinenr with our freinds Tim and Priscilla.. From there we all went down the road a little to Zeno Mountain Farm . It run by my new freind Will, his brother and both their families. Zeno runs a camp for people of all physical and intellectual abilities.. it’s an amazing place that Will and company have bnuilt in the woods of Lincoln VT. There are these amazing camp buildings nestled in the wooods.. it’s lie watching the ‘ewok’ part of one of the star wars moviws. Tonight we were there to see the play which was a take off on Annie.. the actors and acctresses were a mix of councilors, locals and campers.. People fof all shapes and abilities. itwas SOOOOO good. Funny.. well produced and such a feel good time.   My deep resepct for will and the crew who put this on.. and a shout out to Shawnsy on lights and sound.. 

 

After the show. Will and the cast members came out in the Lemon Art Car that will is building for burning man.. (see this post). .   Will and the other folks from the play demonstrated how to be birthed from the lemons womb.. ok a lot of metaphors working there.. but such a cool concept car !

 

We came away feeling happy and inspired.. What a great event and what a great mission !

Today we lent our house to our friend Hannah .. She was throwing a birthday party for her husband (and our good friend) Olivier.. Olivier is from Paris.. and his wish for the day was to have a ’90’s style American Party”.. hannah and her friends decorated our house to be 90’s .. whatever that means 🙂 .  they put on 90’s music.. ate 90’s food.. Olivier loved it !..

 

THey had cornhole, ladder ball, jenga, even beer pong !

W ehung out for a while trying to remember the 90sm but then had to go work on Fluffy…

 

I know that Olivier loved it which is what counts the most !

Today my freind Isa did her summer internship project review.. she is so great to work with. Among other thuings this summer. Isa  helped us make a great model of a LiPo battery that anyone can understand. 

 

got home tonight in time to catch some  beautiful sunset light.. With all the rain. a little sunshine is a beautiful thing. Diane and I took a walk down to the lower gorge to check out the sun , the river and hunt for rocks.. It was crazy to see the signs of how high the water was last week !
