Today my friend Jeff T came in to check out BETA. He’s retiring from teaching and would like to see about working here. He’s a great engineering design teacher at CVU. What was so cool is to see how many of his students already work at BETA !

 

We had a lovely dinner at Debs .. We love hanging out with her !

Today Max and Becky sent us pictures of the rest of their trip to Portugal. It looks like they saw some  cool stuff and had a great trip ! I’m really glad they took the time to hang out a little more there. 

 

 

Later in the evening Diane and I went over to Gizzo and Lauras for a nice dinner and some  Fluffy the bus talk.

 

How did I not get pictures of Gizzo and Laura… ?!? It was really nice hanging out with them !

We had a really good time with Steve and Austin today. The smoke from the Canadian fires made the air really hazy.. but beautiful in a scary way

 

Austin is so interested in everything !.. Very fun to hang out with him !

In the evening I took Steve and Austin on a tour of Beta. (Steve has been in the Army his whole career and does logistics.. so he loved Beta. Austin loved everything about. Best of all were the racing drones practicing on the third floor..

 

At the end of the tour Austin asked me.. What kind of college do I need to go to so I can work here. ?!.. 
Thats such a great thing to hear !

It always feels weird heading back to work after vacation.. So much has happened.. and at the same time nothing has changed. I spent  the morning just readjusting to the time zone …  First a quick dip in the pool with neighbor carley.. then into work to see my friends. 

 

My brother in law Steve and his grandson Austin showed up midday.. We had a nice evening with them. Austin is really in to science so we had fun in the lab.
