Monday night – Car wash

Feeling very monday like.. dunno why..

Dropped off some mail at the town center. Couldn’t help noticing Richmonds 6 police cars parked In a row..  I heard that soemone found a birds nest on top of one of the wheels.
ironic since all the police in town have resigned Its too bad, they are all very good people… the town somehow wasn’t treating them well..

high point of my day was going to the carwash on the way to work

what does that say about my day ?

Sunday night – music in the park

Another pretty peaceful day.  Diane and I went down to Overocker park and did some measurements on how to best place signs for the various beaches there. We’re trying to help people find out about overockers and use it more. It was fun brainstorming on how to do that !

Later on we went to downtown Burlington to hear some  music in the park with Deb, Hannah an Olivier.. super nice. We ran into friend Henry and his dog Leo … As well as our friends Mary and Paul.

It really felt like Summer !

Saturday night – looked at clouds

Nice quiet day. Diane and I worked around the house. We worked on the new cloud and cable naming conventions  for the burning man fluffy bus. Diane wanted to really test out the cable labeling.. she’s very concrete.. so she actually put one of the lighting channels together using paper cut out clouds and alligator leads for cables..

It turned out to be a very useful exercise !

Friday night – hike, FIRST, Hannah and Jotir

Super busy and fun day !.. Diane and started with a quick early morning hike  up to duxbury window.

Gabe called this morning which is also fun.. he’s planning his trip back for friend Jack’s wedding

then busy day at work.. Around 4 we started getting ready for our big ‘end of season’ celebration for FIRST robotics. Ray. Joe, Mark and I planned the event which was hosted at beta. We had a great crowd of FIRST team members, Mentors and Coaches and a bunch of prospective sponsors from industry and government.  We had tons of Pizza and drinks for everyone.  Joe and Mark lead the presentation about stats for the growth of FIRST in Vermont and then we heard from the student competitors.  We then helped the sponsors see how they could get involved.   Once the talking was over, we all wend down to the hanger to see robots at all level of FIRST .. It was really, really fun !.. Thanks to BEAT for making this possible.> And thanks particularly to Rayan and Joe for organizing such a great event !

So fun !.. I had to leave a bit  early because I had another event. It was an engagement party for Hannah and Jotir. at Kathy and Lou’s house. It was so great seeing Hannah and Meeting Jotir. Hannahs brother August was there too.. as were many old friends we don’t see very often.

It was really a nice way to end the day !
