Today was a bg day for the home front. Our beloved trampoline is finding a. new home with  our friend Chelsea and her family.. this thing has been used by countless kids and adults.. it was often where I took calls during covid (falling asleep soemtimes in the middle) . we’ll miss it.. but it’ll sire be easier to mow now.   You can even see the tramp from space 

I had a great surprise today. .my old freind Igor called me out of the blue. Igor and I were good freinds back at IBM … he left and eventually ended up beign the VP in charge of Hardware development  at Groq. .. which was just sold (acutally licensed) to Nvidia.. He came in to work and I got to show him around a little.. nd got to intorduce him to soem of my freinds. He’s one of the best HW engineers i’ve evenr met.. I knew he’d love BETA !

Speakign of Hardware.. I had to do some hardware and softare rework on the remote controlled candy dispenser I made for D2.. .. turns out that the MQTT broker I was using went down.. 

THis thig is currently hooked up to Jira.. so that when we close an issue, it dispences M&M’s.. i’m going to link it to gitlab now..
