A really weird and kind of awful thing happened last night. Some time after 2AM someone came and stole the little wooden wishing well out of our  90 year old neighbor Pat’s front yard. It was a pretty big wooden thing made for Pat and Janet by one of their Son in laws. it has been there for as long as I can remember.. Someone decided they liked enough to bring a truck and lift the heavy thing up and take it away while Pat sleept inside.. and we sleept only 20 yards away. . I think I remember hearing a big clunk which woke me up.. but not really sure..

it’s pretty sad when someone steals something like that.. no real material value, but sentimental value.. We’re looking around for a replacement wishing well. Anyone have one they want to sell ?
