Monday night – Marcia’s obit

Spent the day working in the basement of Marcia’s house .. while Diane and her brothers worked on arraignments  for Marcia’s  funeral on Wednesday. It was pretty surreal.   We chose readings, Diane chose flowers..  Joe and Steve handled logistics…

Marcia’s obit came out in the Binghamton Press and Sun today.

There was one  twist when it came out. After several back and forths with he funeral home and the newspaper, we got a clean copy we liked…   When it came out in the paper today there were 7 question marks spread through the text eg .. it said

Marcia Lou Fox Mariano, 81, has passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018 at her home in Endicott, New York?? …

Joe called the paper and got it changed and it will run again tomorrow. I’d like to think Marcia would think that was pretty funny,

Gabe comes in tomorrow.. and we’ll all be together.. .. almost
