Hanging out wiht Billy and his family in the hospital in Houston.. he continues to make amazing progress.. we havent really been talkign to people about his progress.. but now that he;s doing so well.. it’s something to celebrate 

I spent the second night in hotel room with Billy. It’s actually really pretty comfy. He’s sleeping better and whoever spends the night with him fully job is to wake up with one of the stupid alarms goes off and go get the nurses to turn it off. It was always something unimportant like a pinched IV tube. It wasn’t being used or a battery that need to charge by doing that it gave Billy a better chance to sleep the more he sleeps the more self feels.

It was interesting watching the medical Center skyline go from day to night today again. Nothing like Houston skies…

Around nine I went to pick my mom up Airbnb… You’ve been bringing my crazy streets are flooded. Houston weather is actually really really cool.

You spent the rest of the day Billy and his family. They were nurses and doctors coming in all day, but he also had some friends. His friend Wendell flew all the way from LA just to see him for a half an hour and then come back. That’s love! Wendell brought some card tricks because Billy is the master deli and some cool tricks .   

It’s back to being Billy, which is just so great!

 

 Just to help him along we need some grape juice, orange juice mix, and stir it with a green stick the curb power

 this is a short visit so didn’t get to see any friends but was able to talk to Cousin Wesley who’s in town. She was glad to get an update on them.

so glad to be down here… Heading home with Mom tomorrow

Actually i’m not heading hoem to Vewrmont.. I’m heading back to Minneapolis.. I’m picking up my mom and we’re headinf down to Houston to visit Billy and Family. 

Billy is out of intensive care and doing so much better. 

I got in late last night.. then mom and I headed to the auirport early in the morning.  Moms a greta traveler..   we had fun travelign together.. we did get stuck on the  plane in houston for a couple of hours due to ligtneng

 

as soon as qwe could, we grabbed a n uber to the hospital to see billy !

It was so good seeing billy. He’s doing really well.. he’s got a long recovery in front of him.. 

I love my brother and am so glad he’s goign to be ok !

Today I head hoem to Vermont.. it’s been a fantastic visit. It’s been great gettign Gabe settled in . 

Gabe and  grabbed a bus at about  6:30 in the morning and headded to the train station. I have a ton of luggage.. but most of it’s empty.. it was alll stuff coming this way. Luckinly I found a way to stack them !

I grabbed the train straight to frankfurt airport, and headed to my plabe..  border control lines were a little long, but otherwise a peaceful flight.. 

 

Looking forward to being home. I miss Diane !

I met gabe for lunch at what is now our favorite resturant.. a doner place run by some guys from krdestan

their food is awesome.. 

Later this evening . Gabe and I too a longish run down therough the vinyards adn ended up qin Randersker at a pub.. they were just closing.. but there was time for a braworst (for Gabe0 .. and a piece of bread for me..    and soem beers.. then we ran back home in the dark which was really fun !
