Just finished a cool party for Gabe and Jack;s birthday.. and I do mean a ‘cool’ party.. It’s in the low 50’s outside now.. we actually have a fire goint.. and to think it was 92 2 days ago !
Despite the cool and rainy weather about 40 kids. ran around outside.. playing volleyball, swimming jumping on the tramp, throwing water balloons all like it was mid summer.. oh.. wait.. it is mid summer

Afterwords, gabe went outside for a hot air balloon launch.. it was tricky with he wind and bits of rain.. but ultimately, gabe triumphed..

Sons reminds me of suns.. which reminds me that my friend scott sent me a cool picture of a MAOR coronal mass ejection evnt from our son observed two days ago.. This happens freqnetly.. but this one is a real whopper !. It’s photographed iusing a hydroen alpha filter.. that’s how you can see the detail.. that ejected mass is hundreds of times bigger than the earth.. wow..
