Yesterday and today are the annual meeting of the National Academy of Engineering. I love meeting people at these meetings. I also like the conversations on stage. This morning there was a very good panel on reimagining global supply chains. My friend Dario was on the panel.. It was a very interesting panel.. on a topic many of know about.. I was particularly interested on the conversations around semiconductor supply chains.

One sobering thing we always start our meetign swith is a review of members who have died over the last year.. you wouldn’t think that would take so long.. but since we are members for life.. there are always some freinds who have passed over the year. May of these folsk are heros of mine. Bob Brodersob, Bob Dennard, Sion Sze. All people who helpd shawe our industry.. and my caree
I’m excited about where our section is going. .We have new energized leadership, and one of our own, Prfo Tsu-Jai King will becaome president of the NAE next year. One key focus is to improve the diversity of our section.. I’m passionate about helping that.
After the meeting, I met Diane over at Matthew and Carolines. We had a great take out dinner and got to paly with Anna, James.. and Kate !
