Gosh.. pretty uneventful day.. The most funs was a gnerator board meeting in the late afternoon.. Theres a huge blizard coming through.. unfortunately it started as snow.. then changed to rain and very high winds..

By the tiem we wnet to bed, the wind was howlign and the house was shaking.. Ive never seen anything like it.

I read that its was  4th highest wind gust on record in Vermont as measred at the BTV airport !

We still have a little sow .. so diane and I got out for a short ski along the rivershore before work

 

GOt a call late in the day from my old freind Seth.. He was in town from Colorado for  a sad reason. His brother Ian died last week. Ian was 27.. and had been severely disabled all his life. Its a very sad  time for Seth’s  family..They have been so much .. Seths’ brother Steven  passed away in 2015 

Despite the sad circumstances, I was happy that he could come over for dinner with his friend John who lives nearby. It wa good to see them both 

 we had a good tiem catching up and geekign out … 

 

Diane made a delicions home made pasta dinner. She made Pasta al la Chittarra.. it’s a device with tightly strong wires that cuts the psata quicly.. really fun and delicious.

More light snow this morning. We wanted to get outside in it.. So took a quick backwoods hike in Honey Hollow wiht my Honey !

 

I noted that its finally cold enough to use the front entrance way as an overflow  Fridge.. will soon be a freezer !

GOt a quick hike in this morning up Gleason brook to enjoy the little snow we have

 

Then I headed to U32 in East Montpelior for a FIRST FTC robotics scrimmage. It had been organized by my freind Shawn.. Nce turnout.. 10 teams practicing for the finals next month. Greta energy and great robots !

 

Nice early dinner with Jen, Tim and Deb.. started watchin ‘hot tub time machine’
