Today was my last work day for the year.. I had a bunch of meetings. Mostly fun stuff.
As I was in those meetings, I was working on some presents I’m making for the kids. At one point I inadvertently put a lipo battery down by my soldering iron.. found it just in time !.
While I wa sworking, diane was busy cookifying. She did sooo much work.. we had at least 9 types of cookies, brown butter shortbread, ginger snaps, hocolate/peppermint drops, peanut butter and chocolate kiss, peanut butter and reese’s cup, anise biscotti, chocolate biscotti.. kipferl and pizzelles . They will definitely get us through the holidays !
We had dinner together with everyone before max and I went to the airport to pick up gabe
Another work day. I spent much of it in meetings.. We did g4et to eat some candy.. we’re deep n tradition here.. so we got soem ribbon candy.. soemthign that diane always had around christmas time.. it’s pretty weird tasing but fun to eat !
Around Becky’s parents george and doreen showed up .We’re splitting an air bnb which is really fin. we like hannging out with them. !
It was a work day for Becky. Max and Me.. so we all kinda hung low. I’m supportign soem very cool testing projects back hoe.. so spent time workign on that.
Diane and I did get a run in down to Baca street. to check out soem shops. Evrythign seemed to be closed on monday but ewe did .. get to see a little glass blowing.
towards e enign I helped diane make xmas cookies .. my joiber was to peel the candy wrappers.. for soem reason, many of the candies never got into the cookies 🙂
Becky arranged a real treat for us today .. She’d bought us all tickets to see the “Musical Pinata” Christmas pageant at the Teatro Paraguas. Becky and Max’s freind Jen he;ps run the theatre. the show was truly wonderful. It was a mix of kids, actorsacrtesses and musicioans. With music, poetry,. plays and dance. It was completely bilingual.. about 50/50 english spanish which was fun for me to test my rusty spanish. It was so fun and sweet !
I found out that you can watch the whole thing onlone.. its about an hour..
We left smiling and singing !
