Today was Labor Day… So it was a bonus day off.… Really nice to hang out with the boys. Everybody slept late so DIane and I took a valiant attempt to locate the car keys I lost yesterday.
we took a fast walk retracing our path up the river .. no luck on Finding the keys… It was nice to be out in the woods with diane in such a pretty place 🙂
We spent the rest of the day hanging out with the boys Max have to go home tomorrow so we enjoyed soaking in Being together. Which included eating one of the lions mane mushrooms that Max found on our hike yesterday … yum !

As the week goes on I’m getting more pictures and videos from burning man friends. Here’s a video of the folks emptying one of the remaining propane tanks. Those are about 10 foot flames
Who is a super nice and relaxing day after all the fun of the wedding this weekend. Our big venture out was that Max, Gabe, Diane and I hiked up the catamount trail Visit some of our favorite waterfalls. We spent a couple of hours walking up Honey Hollow Creek… It’s amazing that this is only 2 miles from our house.

Today was the big day! Kevin and Margaret (a.k.a. Marge) we’re getting married. We were so happy to be part of this wedding. Kevin and his family have been super close to us ever since he and Sam met on the school bus in third grade.
Kevin and his family were there for us so much when Sam died… And have been like family to us ever since. Kevin statue died just six weeks ago.
. Joes memory was everywhere in this gathering. . Joe had been so proud of Kevin and loved Margaret.
Even with some sadness mixed in, This was a very fun and light day… It was wonderful to be here with everyone.
It was fun catching up with folks as we gathered and set up for the party
And then… It was time for the wedding. We are gathered down hey Siri the lake… And Kevin’s good friend John stood up to officiate. He did a fabulous job
And just like that they were man and wife.… I wish them a long and healthy and happy life together. I’m a big fan of marriage… It’s worked out very well for us 🙂
Let the party begin.… There was such great food and drink and toast and talk… It was great coming together and it was great remembering those who couldn’t be here with us

What a fantastic day!… So happy to be with so many friends so happy to see our friends happy. Congratulations Kevin and Marge !

Late afternoon we piled in both cars and headed down to the DAR {ark in Addison county.. It was a beautiful night for kevin and margarets rehearsal dinner and (for some) campout
It was getting late so we helped gabe get our ten set up, then Diane and I headed home.
meanwhile on the playa I later learned that a couple chose to get married in front of Fluffy. how cool is that ?
