Spent the day getting ready for our trip to Maui.. so excited. The one thing notable I did was to scan a bunch of old photos my mom sent to me .. I love looking at them even if I cant tell who everyone is.. THere are some great ones of my mom and her sister Sis. And soem really nice ones of my grandmother Min and her family
There was even this napkin printed in honor of a party my grandparents gave in honor of my mom and Sis..
Today is Gabes birthday.. he’s 27 !.. thats pretty amazing when your youngest kid is 27. He’s such an amazing being.. so smart, so fun and so loving.. I’m so happy to be your dad.

Busy day at work .. but managed to get out to generator in the late afternoon to meet wiht my freinds Chris and Lopo. We’re scheming about a simple AI based interactive demo that we can use for Chirs’s show next Feb.. and for a piece at Beta.. We’re experimenting with p5js which is a wonderful building block for interactive art. While we were therrr, our freind Leif came by.. nice geek out ensued..
When I got home, our young neibor carley was there. its fun when she comes over.. she’s helping us get rid of dandelinons today.. the slow way 🙂
I had a really nice meetup with my friend Elliot this morning before the Generator Safety meeting. Check out what he made for us !.. These are stones he laser etched Sam’s name on.. pretty cool mix of nature and tech !
Late that night I finnally got to take my firest try at the “Plan B” for the burning man bus. We had originally started using uindividual DMX comonents.. but that was goign to be hard to assemble. Plan B is using high ned christmas lights (believe it or not). the stuff is all waterproof which is a huge help..
