Sunday night – latched

Super quiet day around here… ‘Diane and I got out for a great hike around Libby’s lookout… They were surprising number of people out there… Which meant masks most of the way. I felt good to get out

Spent the day with projects around the house… Mostly still getting ready for winter. We got the interior windows up yesterday… Today I worked on doors. A couple of days ago I put in a latch on our pantry I’ve been missing for decades

And I redid the bolt and latch on our front door… Which is probably been in bad shape for at least four decades.

Somehow working on doors seemed meaningful as we all shut ourselves inside for safety and wait for spring

I’m hoping all your doors are in good shape

Saturday night – Parade of lights

Kind of a low-key day… Feeling kind of down. Mostly worked around the house… A big accomplishment was getting the storm windows on inside upstairs… Went quick with three people. We Got a short hike in to Duxbury window which was good :

One fun thing today was that one of our first robotics teams give a class in programming that went really well. If you missed it we recorded it so you can watch it later. Very appreciative of the team from East Montpelier they put it together

This evening we drove to Waterbury to see if he “parade of lights”… See 11th annual event and of course this one was different because of the pandemic.. Normally there would be hundreds of people out carrying lanterns in a parade… This time the lanterns were fixed and you got to drive through. It was definitely good hearted. They were hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of lanterns. We went because we wanted to see her friend John’s piece that I had to help Ton. We got there pretty late but we were able to see it

Friday night – Choclohenge

Got a nice surprise today from work. The leader ship of the Cambridge Lab sent out a wonderful little box of chocolates from our local Chocolatier in Cambridge… It’s really beautiful and really nice stuff… I celebrated by making my own very little Stonehenge out of it before eating it

Thank you IBM CAMBRIDGE for making our night !

Friday night (delayed) – Inane DiOrama

Do you ever get distracted very long zoom calls… I frequently do… Yesterday I used one of these calls to do something very important. I checked out Anagrammes of our families names…

Did you know that Diane Mariano. Can be re-ordered into “inane diorama”

Or Maxwell Cohn Spelled sideways is “clam Hewn lox” (Sounds tasty)

Gabe cohn is either “beg nacho” Or “each bong”

Maybe Beg nacho is what you do after each bong 😉

Strangely the program couldn’t find anything for John Maxwell Cohn…

I guess I’m already mixed up
