I’ve gotten in the habit of climbing a mountain or something similar every Wednesday… It’s Getting a little tricky to do that with the early sunsets, hunting season and ski season starting . Let means we have to get more creative about when and where we climb… I was lucky that I had an hour and a half free this morning around 8 AM Diane got me out of the house to pick up Bamforth Ridge… We didn’t have time to go all the way to the Duxbury window… But we were able to take a lovely hike in the woods. There’s some beautiful waterfalls back there… I was tempted to jump in and take a swim… But that would’ve blown our time budget.

I’m very grateful to be able to get to this kind of beauty in less than five minutes

I’m the last one a week here… And walking around downstairs. It always feels like somethings missing… And then I realize it’s the dogs.… I think about them both so much.…

We have a little shrine for both of them… I go over and talk to them at times like now…

Whewww back at work one day and it was a Ling one . 8am until 8pm . Consequently didn’t do much today other than work. So not much to record . One cool thing just happened .. I noticed that the rain on our ur webcam did a cool thing with the lights from the candles in our windows

There’s a ring around the moon tonight… Really. It’s amazing.  Seen here over the house with its new color lights. 

Ieminds me of that great elephant rival song “ring around the moon”

t’s funny because later tonight there’s a partial lunar eclipse… But it’s gonna be too cloudy to see.

Earlier in the day ‘Diane and I went up the other side of Bolton Valley to Bryon Lodge and then up and over heavenly Highway and down wilderness. It’s still winter up there… Even though all our snow is gone down here

Great end to a great day.. and a great week off.. tomorrow’s back to work… Do I remember how to do that?
