Just realized I didn’t post anything less Sunday thank you show !)
Trying to remember what we did. Definitely the highlight was taking a walk with our friends Jen and Tim down along the creek at the edge of their land. They had heard that about 100 years ago there was an illegal whiskey still down there and they were trying to find it. We left them Sam’s all metal detector and they were able to uncover some really cool stuff including an old ram pump and what they think was the thumper keg for the still
I was welding today when diane came in to the garage ..
She was dancing
Took me a second but then I figured it out . We went on and jumped on CNN
I ran up to the tower and started ringing the bell !
It felt like a huge weight was lifting all around us
All day we were hearing from family and friends .. we’ll remember it forever
I’m so hopeful that we’re moving in a much better direction.
A more compassionate and more inclusive direction
We just finished watching Biden and Harris do their acceptance speech . It was truly inspiring . I did t expect that I’d be as moved as I was
I am sooooo happy and relieved
I do feel bad for all the folks who are disappointed by the election but i believe that Biden will really work to bring folks together . All I can ask is that we all help make that happen
Not much happened today .. i sat glued to Cnn and not watching the election results
Then diane and I watched ” the social dilemma ” on. Netflix
It partially explains why I spent so much time on cnn (aside from the fate of the world)
Even though I know how social marketing works.. I even have a few patents I. The area .. I don’t think I ever realized how much it has been modifying my views and behaviors
Still waiting for resolution on the election… Not much to share new today. It was a heads down workday.… I didn’t want to share one thing from earlier in the week. On Tuesday… Election day… Diane ‘Kyle and I played hooky mid day and took a quick climb up Alton. There were waist high drifts on the way up which was pretty cool because it was almost 70° today (Thursday)…
Anyway… ‘Kyle made a funny observation… While everybody else was voting we were using our polls to Bike through the deep snow…
