Strange day . It is Halloween, but not really.

I e we’re going to take our young friend Finn our bit Most trick or treating was canceled due to the pandemic .

It’s strange because this was probably our biggest holiday when the. Kids were young . We had huge parties with about 300 folks ! They were smaller after sam died .. still fun though. All the boys just loved hollowWeen

Today we were determined to have fun anyway . We hiked Bolton with our friend Colleen

After the hike I took some extra candy over to Gretchen and Marshall’s for them to give out. They were on the only street I know was open for trick or treaters tonight . They always do a nice job. Marshall has made a candy shoot for social distancing .. and Gretchen gabe me a donut using a Ling net !

The rest of the day was seasonal chores including putting up the windows .. a huge job but easier with Kyle helping

And I installed our new mailbox complete with stickers from the boys !

The. Diane and I watched beetle juice in the barn just for some Halloween spirit

Just as we were heading to bed I went out front and saw this !

Interesting night last night . Diane and I attended a very cool virtual gala for the Tesla science center at wardenclyff New York. The evening was a fund raiser for the museum thu are building there. I’m on the education committee there which has been really fun.1 last nights event was dedicated to Vince cert .. one of the inventors of tcpip the underpinning of the. Internet. He was a fun and gracious recipient of the honor .

The whole thing was very well done . It was a mix of zoom like talking heads , animations and a really amazing mix mix of performers . They ad an iPad magician, exec chef, mixologist, bands (they might be giants !, Devine hand theremin orchestra) and Tesla could (arc attack and Greg lay .. ). And fireworks !

It was remarkably fun Nd well run

After that we decided to watch the new Boday movie .. what a crazy project . Hard to believe that most of the scenarios Sasha Barron Cohen Filmed Actually were true-ish !

Yesterday was our friend Deven’s birthday… She didn’t want to call her birthday so we sent her a “happy chirpday” card

Tonight our friends Stephan and ‘Renee invited Deb, Diane and me to a socially distant outdoor-ish dinner and they’re open a barn. We had propane heaters and blankets… And a lovely meal. We really enjoy hanging out with them. Deb had a great night

Oh one more picture… This from last night. Diane and I just turned at the light or asleep when we heard something moving around in her front entranceway. It actually sounded like someone or something walking around grab bathroom is there… I found a chipmunk or squirrel hanging on for dear life on a yoga mat suspended 20 feet in the air and her friend entranceway. I couldn’t tell if it was alive or dead… But it wasn’t much I could do I could meet Ricchio. We went back to sleep and heard it moving around again .

Fun morning at the Virtual C2 conference in Canada . My new amazing friend Eesha Q and I gave a virtual masterclass called ‘inventors like you’ Eesha is a 16 year old inventor and blockchain and AI Expert from Toronto who’s part of a group called The Knowledge Society.(TKS) . With the great help of the C2 team we took the 400’or so session attendees through some quick lessons in turning on our inner inventor . It was really fun doing the talk .. I hope the attendees liked it . It’s hard to tell in a virtual setting .. eager to see the feedback .

Big thanks to C2 for organizing the event . They were really wonderful to work with .

The rest of the day was June packed when I could quickly.

Around five Diane and I escaped and climbed wilderness at Bolton. It was pretty cool up there completely in the clouds
