i did as little as possible today which was a real treat.. The big event for the day was going out for Linner (if brunch == breakfast + lunch, then dinner == lunch + dinner) at Sneakers.. a place in WInooski that Diane and I used to go to in the early 80’s.. it was always the place you headed when you were hungover on a Sunday morning.. .. It was great being back there clear headed only 30 years later..

very good hanging out wit the boys.. we talked of biochem, evolution, dog hormones, vacations, condiments , old friends, dolphins, snowboard tricks, movies, ice cream, 420, burritos, mustard seeds, broccoli kale, (all related it seems) .. ear cartilage, firing ranges, vacations, hiking, rock climbing, and about a million other things.

 

 

afterwards.. we headed back to games dorm to hep him fix his bike.. a pretty low key and very welcome day

I was grateful for my family…

and grateful for the down time..
