Calm after the storm…
We had a very slow and peaceful day.. did almost nothing.. which was about all I felt like doing. our friend Sho is here visiting from NYC.. which is really fun.
We had a lat start today.. as we were hanging out this morning, we saw emergency lights flashing outside.. but no sirens. We went out to see a long line of firetrucks, ambulances and place cars in a slow tribute processions for our town fire Chief Tom Levesque who died recently. He was a great guy.. most of my interactions with him were around fireworks .. .. he was always helpful and friendly.. and served this town so well.
our only venture out today was to bens for some apple picking.. and talk about the signs we’re making for the Bernie campaign. It was really nice hanging out and picking those beautiful apples.. they were so tasty.. the air was wet and cold.. ..
and just as we headed inside, it started SNOWING !!!
we drove home the long way to show Sho more of the town.. we went by Lake Iroquois where we used to take the kids swimming

then we drove down to lake sunset where i lived in 1981 .. Here’s my old house !
we got home around 5.. and haven’t done a thing since..
just what i needed !
